The Irish Palaeoecology and Environmental Archaeology Network website is a vehicle to facilitate communication between environmental archaeologists and palaeoecologists working independently, based in companies and in academic and research positions.

We hope you find the site useful, whether you are looking for a specialist, are interested in joining or are a current member.  We welcome comments, feedback, suggestions and corrections.

We particularly welcome details of upcoming seminars, conferences, workshops and courses relevant to environmental archaeology and palaeoecology.

Susan Lyons asked Gianmarco Cattari to write a GIS course tailored to the needs of environmental archaeologists. The course was a great success when it was held on January 21-22nd.
